So, I'm getting married and therefore decorating my home and therefore browsing for cool stuff. Here's what I found today:

Wedding gown: attempt #1

I'm getting married! In like four months! So it's high time to think of everything, starting with the gown. As my Mom, our friend and I can sew, my gown will most probably be sewn for me - it will take as much time as finding the right one in a shop and be way less stressful and expensive.

So, I'll start with the bottom. It has to be like that:

This is a dress by Sarah and I just love the way the fabric is drapped.

But I'd rather have sleeves with an empire waist, which is very flattering for me:

Actually, I have been for a week now, so if you follow my other blog/twitter/facebook/whatever, you probably already know. Anyway, I've been so busy since then, and that's why I'm writing about it here that late.

Of course, I couldn't post here about my engagement without showing the ring. I don't have an exact picture (guess I should take one), but here's a resembling ring:

I'm a sucker for colorful tights

I've always been a sucker for colorful tights. Unfortunately, I thought they were for preschool children and didn't really own any until they became so hot a season of two ago. Then yesterday, I found two beautiful pairs, a blue one and a fushia one, that soon ended up in my shopping bag. I was just concerned that they were over, until this morning. I was browsing fashion blogs and came across this:
You probably don't need any more explanations, but I'll just say this pic comes from the GOOP newsletter and it kinda suggests that fushia tights are in - I like that and I'm gonna stick to that.

On my wishlist: a cool laptop skin

I bought a pink laptop a few days ago! But I'm not throwing the old one (black) away, and if you want a laptop to look great, you don't have to buy it pink - just buy a skin!

Well, easier said than done, when the choice is soo big!
