I'm a sucker for colorful tights

I've always been a sucker for colorful tights. Unfortunately, I thought they were for preschool children and didn't really own any until they became so hot a season of two ago. Then yesterday, I found two beautiful pairs, a blue one and a fushia one, that soon ended up in my shopping bag. I was just concerned that they were over, until this morning. I was browsing fashion blogs and came across this:
You probably don't need any more explanations, but I'll just say this pic comes from the GOOP newsletter and it kinda suggests that fushia tights are in - I like that and I'm gonna stick to that.

Fall color palette

Fashion blogs are into Spring 2009 already. Well, I'm way behind. For two reasons. First, I wanted to make most of my summer holidays and I just came back from Spain a few days ago, so up to this point I was Summer 2008. And second, I'm interested in what to wear now and not about foreseeing. So, fall has begun, Fashion Tribes had a post about the Spring 2009 Color Palette, so I decided to check out the autumn one, and here it is:

I love it. Vibrant colors but not too vibrant. Lots of colors to choose from - the world won't stick to the only right one.

Now, time to check the closet, remind myself what I've got there and start creating awesome autumn looks.

Color blocks

As you'll soon notice, I love bright bold colors. It's not a really good thing, as they look good on children and African women, and not on strawberry blondes like me, but... wait a minute, so what? You're only young once, I'm young and I don't care if sometimes, I don't wear the most becoming colors for me. Maybe when I'm older. Right now, I'm proclaiming my love for colors and color blocks.
