Wedding gown: attempt #1

I'm getting married! In like four months! So it's high time to think of everything, starting with the gown. As my Mom, our friend and I can sew, my gown will most probably be sewn for me - it will take as much time as finding the right one in a shop and be way less stressful and expensive.

So, I'll start with the bottom. It has to be like that:

This is a dress by Sarah and I just love the way the fabric is drapped.

The top could be something like that:


But I'd rather have sleeves with an empire waist, which is very flattering for me:

Gucci Resort 2009

Gucci Resort 2009 is not half as cool as Badgley Mischka, but there are some really nice etno prints.


Nice, but this looks a bit like a skirt worn on the neck.

Could this dress be any more unflattering?

This is a really cool way to wear prints without getting too colorful.

To the formals, now. I like them a lot. Well, actually, my inner child does, but I guess if you have a formal occasion to attend while on holidays, these looks are very young, fresh and holiday-suited.
